Accordingly, overnight oats are also a form of our classic porridge. However, in comparison to porridge, they are prepared the day before and enjoyed chilled the next morning.

The basic recipe …
For the base of the Overnight Oats, you just mix the oats with some milk. Instead of cow’s milk, I like to use vegan alternatives. So, for example, soy, oat or almond milk. In addition, I often add a spoonful of chia or flax seeds. Because this binds the liquid even better. As a result, your Overnight Oats become even creamier. Hence, oats, milk and chia seeds are always used as the base. In addition, you can stir in yogurt or curd . This way, your breakfast will not only be creamier, but also higher in protein. As As a base for these delicious, tropical overnight oats, we first need some coconut drink. coconut drink is thereby something different than coconut milk.
