First process half of the oats (80g) into fine flour. Then mix all your dry ingredients (oats, oatflour, baking powder, protein powder, salt, cinnamon, speculoos seasoning) in a large bowl. Wash and grate the apple and add it to the other ingredients.
Then add the eggs, the applesauce, your milk and sweetener and mix everything with a hand mixer or whisk. Finally add the sparkling water and stir well again.
Then fry the waffles step by step in a waffle iron. For me the batter makes 8 waffles.
