Breakfast Burrito

Burrito filled with omelette - in a savoury and sweet variation

Zutaten
  

for the sweet burrito

  • 1 egg
  • 100 grams egg white
  • ½ banana
  • 1 tortilla wrap
  • some cinnamon

for the savoury version

  • 1 egg
  • 100 grams egg white
  • finley chopped veggies, grated cheese, some ham, bacon .... All the things you like to eat in an omelette.
  • 1 tortilla wrap

Anleitungen
 

  • Whisk the egg and the egg whites and add the other ingredients for your omelette.
    (For the sweet version, you simply cut the banana into thin slices and add them to the eggs.)
  • Heat a pan, which should be about the size of your tortilla, and spray with some non stick cooking spray. Reduce the heat to a medium level and add the omelette mixture.
    Now sprinkle cinnamon generously over the sweet version. For savoury omelettes I would now sprinkle grated cheese over it.
  • Put the tortilla on the egg as soon as it starts to set at the edge. Leave to cook for approx. 2-3 minutes and use a spatula to run it under the egg from all sides so that it comes out of the pan later.
  • As soon as you have the feeling that the omelette is stable enough, let it slide out of the pan onto a large plate that is a little tick bigger than your pan. Then place the pan upside down on the plate and turn everything 180 degrees so that the omelette is now lying in the pan with the tortilla side down.
  • Put the pan back on your stove and fold the burrito. Let it bake again briefly from both sides for 30 to 60 seconds and it is ready to serve.
